Lagoon Fixes a Flaw in Its New Social Clubs

Lagoon just made a change to its new 21-and-over social clubs, and it fixes one complaint I had after my first visit and it makes it a much better deal.

When the Carousel Club and the Flirty Birdie first opened this year, I covered both clubs in detail. The cozy, old-world feel of the Carousel Club, the bright and playful Flirty Birdie, the mocktails, the cover charge, all of it. One thing stood out as a real downside back then. Once you left the atrium, you couldn't get back in without paying the cover charge all over again.

What Changed

That no re-entry policy is gone. Lagoon scraped it right off the entrance signage, and now when you pay your cover charge, you get a wristband instead. That wristband lets you come and go from both the Carousel Club and the Flirty Birdie all day long. No extra charge to get back in.

Honestly, this is a huge improvement. Makes these clubs feel more like a place to relax between rides instead of somewhere you're locked into once you walk in. Grab a drink, cool off in the air conditioning, go ride the Nutcracker, then come back later without paying for admission a second time.

Why This Matters

Now, if you're not familiar with the setup, both clubs sit upstairs above the Carousel Candy and the Peacock Parlour, cover charge of $10 for one person or $15 for two to get in. The Carousel Club leans into a quiet, old-world library vibe with dark green walls and chandeliers. The Flirty Birdie brings the energy with pink couches and a deck overlooking the roller coaster. Both serve a daily mocktail and a small food menu.

With unlimited re-entry now part of the deal, that cover charge stretches a lot further. You're not stuck choosing between staying in the air conditioning all day or going back out to ride something. You can do both.

For me, certainly adds a lot more value to the whole experience and makes these clubs an easier recommendation than they were on opening day.
